Midtown is the spine of the city between downtown and the 401, and the bookings here look different from downtown bookings. Two things shape the driving. The first is the Eglinton Crosstown work, which has reshaped curb lanes, turns and access along Eglinton for years and makes a short east-west hop slower than it looks. The second is the DVP, reached from Bayview or the Bayview Extension, which is the fast route north and south outside the peaks and a parking lot inside them: southbound it clogs from Eglinton down through the Bloor ramps in the morning, northbound it stacks from mid-afternoon. For Pearson, Midtown runs the 401 west to Highway 409, which is around thirty-five minutes off-peak and an hour or more in either peak. For downtown, Yonge, Avenue Road, Mount Pleasant and the DVP are all options and the right one depends entirely on the hour. Hourly blocks work well up here for appointment days and for evenings where the car waits rather than being re-booked.

Is there a charge for driving out to the edge of the corridor?
Distance is part of the quote from the start, not a surprise line at the end. A run out to Oakville or Oshawa costs more than a run across midtown because it is more hours and more kilometres, and you will see that before you agree to it. What we will not do is quote a downtown number and then add travel once the car is already booked.
Can the car stay with us between stops?
That is the whole point of hourly and as-directed work. The driver and the vehicle are yours for the block of time, so the car waits while you are in the meeting, the appointment, the dinner or the fitting, and your things stay in it. It is usually the better value once a day has three or more stops, because you are not paying to re-book and re-position a car each time.
